Matilda Abruquah
Founder and Convener
Matilda Abruquah is a dedicated Investigator with the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice and the Founder of The Flower Community GH (NGO). With over 10 years of expertise in autism support, she is passionate about helping families in Ghana affected by the condition. Matilda is a strong advocate for Autism, Environmental, and Human Rights issues, with a deep love for nature and its conservation. She actively champions the creation of parks, natural spaces, and greener homes in Ghana. An enthusiastic volunteer, she enjoys community service and connecting with nature, striving to make a meaningful impact on marginalized communities and the environment.
Dr. Yaw Agyeman Boafo
Co-Convener
Dr. Yaw Agyeman Boafo is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Studies, University of Ghana, and a co-convenor of Flower Community GH. With a profound love for nature, he combines his expertise in climate change adaptation, sustainability, and biodiversity conservation with his passion for creating greener spaces and promoting the appreciation of Ghana’s rich floral diversity. Dr. Boafo’s commitment to nurturing sustainable ecosystems aligns seamlessly with Flower Community GH’s vision to foster environmental stewardship through community engagement and education.
Raymond C. Gordon

Raymond C. Gordon is a master florist based in the United Kingdom and the founder of Sunflowers UK Ltd. With over 15 years of experience, he specializes in creating stylish wedding bouquets, centerpieces, flower wall and ceiling installations, and decorations for various events. A passionate lover of nature, Raymond finds inspiration in parks, trees, and flowering plants, which drive his creativity. His work has brought joy to countless clients during weddings, anniversaries, and other celebrations, while also offering comfort during moments of grief. As the Episode 2 winner of Netflix’s The Big Flower Fight (2019), Raymond remains one of London’s leading florists.
